I’ve been plugging in an Atari 2600, the NES Advantage, a Sega Genesis gamepad, and even a VCR. I’ve been working on Game Room Infinity and Tome of Infinity, and the room is a mess with cables everywhere. But that’s how it goes when you’re playing and reviewing old games. Today it’s Keystone Capers from Activision.

Big thanks to Mike from Pittsburgh for loaning me a copy of this while I was working on Tome of Infinity. This game is like Pitfall meets Mappy. I’ve been recording gameplay, and I even played Human Cannonball earlier. CGR Infinity is a new take on the show, floating in space, drifting through classic gaming.

Gameroom, CGR, CGR 2085, CGR Infinity—none of this has anything to do with Fortnite. Human Cannonball is a great game. Keystone Capers is a great game. Activision made great games. This one is fun. You’re a cop chasing a criminal through a department store. You jump over things, avoid things, and catch the criminal. It’s like Jungle Hunt meets Pitfall meets Mappy.

You’re hunting down the criminal, avoiding bricks, and trying not to get hit by anything. Keystone Capers looks like a typical Activision game. You’re chasing the criminal who’s running away. Got him. And now we send him to the death chamber.

There are things to collect for points. Back to CGR Infinity—these are two very different things I’m talking about and I’m getting confused. CGR Infinity should be fun and totally different. That thing is bad, it’s like a scorpion. No! Where’d he go There he is. It’s like Rolling Thunder, he just hides in the elevator. Avoid the brick, catch the criminal before time runs out. Watch out for the death airplanes. You’re going to see this game again in CGR Infinity.

You can’t run down the up escalators. When will I ever learn You’ve got to corner this guy using the elevator. But to do that, you’ve got to catch him in advance. Because if he knows what level you’re going to be on, he runs the other way and you can’t go down that elevator. So I’m waiting for the elevator. All I need is a drill. Where’s Dig Dug when you need him Just get me through the ground. He’s going to run out of time and then the criminal’s going to escape and commit crimes like jaywalking again. No, he’s running the other direction.

He saw me. Can I not go down the up escalator Come on, I’ve done this in shopping malls. You can go down the up escalator. Program this. No, he’s getting away. Where’s the elevator Into the mail cart. Back here. Are there airplanes in there Dive bombing me in the… where am I It’s like a defunct Macy’s. Ow, my head just got ripped off.
