Welcome to Classic Game Room for the review of an exciting game on the Bally Astrocade called Space Fortress. This is like Star Castle in reverse, where you’re defending the castle or the fortress from turrets that randomly appear on the outsides of the screen. It’s a cool game, so enjoy. One. Two. Nine. Picking up the big points, protecting my space fortress from alien ships. Those look like Romulan ale ships. Do the Romulans do anything but make ale Do they need to I don’t know. From 1981, for your Bally Astrocade, it’s Space Fortress.

This game is worth playing for the explosions alone. In fact, I would argue that when you explode, you win. That looks like the time I blew up the spaceship with all the people on it. That was fun. This game is good. My fortress is well protected in space. What the hell is that thing Yeah This game is amazing. Game of the year every year.

Not very intense. This could be more intense. Enter number of players. One. Enter bases. We’re going to go two. Enter intensity. Nine. Billion. Well, let’s start with nine. The Bally Astrocade is incredible. It’s worth buying just for this game alone. If you like old school games like Star Castle, you’ll love this. It’s ridiculous. Can you hear the music There’s some very sad music trying to play in the background.

I’m getting a satisfactory level of intensity. Whoa. Woo. I love the sound effects. What is that thing Oh. Ha ha ha. Apparently it’s bad for you. It’s in space. That’s the greatest thing I’ve ever seen. That’s incredible. Several dozen views can’t be wrong. This game is the future.

Explosions everywhere. The Bally Astrocade is one of the greatest game systems ever created. It’s got wood grain. It’s got a weird controller. It’s got games like Space Fortress. It’s got a calculator. Where can you find a calculator these days Nothing has a calculator. This thing is very nasty. That’s the greatest game over screen ever. Well, maybe not as good as Missile Command. It’s the second best game over screen ever. Space Fortress. And to start the next game you just go click. This thing’s amazing. Gotta love the Astrocade.
