Top Gun: The Second Mission - NES

Maverick returns to blow up bad guys in Top Gun 2 (no relation to the movie!) for the NES featuring a frantic, cluttered single player campaign as well as one and two-player vs. action.

I don't know why but, this just didn't seem like a game that I ever had interest in but it doesn't look bad.

Top Gun: The Second Mission is a very nice improvement over its predecessor on the NES. The refueling crap is gone and landing the plane is much easier now. This allows the player to focus more on the air combat. Also dogfights were added to the game. They can be fun at times, but confusing and difficult to control.

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age - Nintendo GameCube
"Third Age nimbly intertwines the journey of previously unfamiliar characters with the path of the ones you already know, expanding the lore of the films and crafting opportunities for some memorable cameos. The lack of side quests and exploration makes for a pretty shallow RPG but solid turn-based combat, pretty graphics, and the evil faction’s mini-campaign combine to make it quite fun. This could be the best Western RPG on the NGC, despite its flaws—even if only for a lack of alternatives." - stereopathic

Donkey Kong Country - Game Boy Color
"The switch to color from DK Land actually harmed the game but the core Kong Country experience we know and love was preserved quite well and to some regard, I still prefer playing these games on handhelds. However, with 3 DK Lands on the Game Boy, 3 solid audio-visual ports on the GBA, Donkey Kong Country Returns on 3DS and Wii and Tropical Freeze on Wii U not forgetting the original SNES games, this should be the last DK Country fans go for." - teddykongcountry

 Panic Restaurant - NES
"It's a shame how rare this game is and how much it's going for today because Panic Restaurant is an amazing game! You play as a bad ass chef who ventures through food themed levels collecting powerups such as forks, spoons, and even dishes to use against enemies. The game can get challenging at times but not too steep, especially since you have unlimited continues. If you can play famicom games you're in luck cause Panic Restaurant is much cheaper on Famicom. Less then $100 and its yours!" - Truxton4life

 Missile Command - Arcade
"I only got to play MC on an early Atari home system. Don't remember which model." - Rob
