Black Regnum
A cheesy RPG mashed up with awesome characters, cute dialogue. well-crafted cutscenes (Arche's wink made me cringed as usual) and a solid RPG experience. Fans of the Tales series and RPGs in general should have a look in this game. The story is all about a guy/gal who is chosen as a Descender to battle against a guy who looks like a Sephiroth ripoff (try saying say that five times fast). Recommended for players having these fetishes for JRPGs (like me). :)

 Top Gun - NES
"The legendary cockpit view shooter for NES. For 1987 this was like whoaow... I get my own F-14 simulator in my house!!! The game itself wasn't bad, with competent missile lock-on & satisfying gun fire. And of course its infamous landing sequence... I could never land it in the day. How was I supposed to know the correct velocity... And it kept saying Right! Right! Did that mean "correct" or move to the right?? Always ended up flying over the carrier and exploding. Ha-Haah! Part of its charm." - leaon79s

Top Gun - Konami - Crappy Handhelds
"For an LCD of the time it's really not that bad. At least you get to shoot down enemies in a cockpit view and compete for a high score (provided you had friends around) - pretty much all the important stuff. For Konami to put their name there it has to have some semblence of quality… And the sticker & design of the device itself does make it look kind of cool… But it's not really Top Gun without the landing sequence…" - leaon79s

 Half-life - PlayStation 2
"The pioneer of the immersion via cut-sceneless in-game storytelling style, and the one that made me feel REAL FEAR for the first time in a video game. Having this big-as giant robot monster thingee chase you from behind…oh, scary-scary… Defined by a lengthy campaign in an immensely elaborate setting & impressive enemy AI. The PS2 DS2 is undoubtedly a poor substitue for keyboard & mouse, which makes this version inferior to the PC original but… An FPS gamer's prerequisite regardless of platform." - leaon79s

Mega Man Anniversary Collection - PlayStation 2
"It sure beats having to try to keep up copies of all of these games individually. If this collection had only half of the games it actually has on it, even the worst half, it would still be a great compilation! Anyone wanting to get into Megaman, this is all you need to own for quite awhile." - whtevrhpnd2mary
