Black Regnum
A cheesy RPG mashed up with awesome characters, cute dialogue. well-crafted cutscenes (Arche's wink made me cringed as usual) and a solid RPG experience. Fans of the Tales series and RPGs in general should have a look in this game. The story is all about a guy/gal who is chosen as a Descender to battle against a guy who looks like a Sephiroth ripoff (try saying say that five times fast). Recommended for players having these fetishes for JRPGs (like me). :)

RECENT CGR COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Keith Courage in Alpha Zones - TurboGrafx-16
"I actually really dug this game. The TG16 was so new at the time that it really worked as a launch title. The Enemies were also uber-weird. Best TG16game? Not at all. But it was worthy for it's time." - oyabungaijin

 Katamari Damacy - PlayStation 2
"I was intrigued by and continue to love this game due to its unconventionality, charm and style. I was a Nintendo fan for a long time and Katamari Damacy made me real jealous of PS2 owners. I get a rush of nostalgia whenever I hear "Lonely Rolling Star" during afternoon lunch at Nijiya Market which happens amazingly quite often but the rest of the OST is also great. Katamari Damacy is an excellent spiritual successor to Pac-Man filled with enjoyment and remains stellar to this day!" - teddykongcountry

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - PlayStation 3
"An extra 4th game to the Sands of Time Trilogy. Derided by some as unnecessary, I found it bridges the 1st & 2nd games well, addressing inconsistencies such as the Prince's character transfomation, and the retention of time powers beyond the first's ending. More of the same in gameplay, but an additional water manipulation system allows for even more complex platforming. The Koei-ish combat is adequate if not exceptional. Maybe not AAA, but also maybe just the missing link to fill that PoP void." - leaon79s

Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - PlayStation 2
"Really good for a licensed game, and it's a pretty good game in general. The writing is funny and feels just like the show. The controls are tight and responsive for every character. The sound track is great, very catchy. I really like how in the game you can see other levels in the game from other levels, and I also like the sense of scale to the Level Design. However, the game is a tad to short, and some of the areas feel linear and can be annoying. The games graphics are also pretty dated." - xykeleiyon

 Tekken 5 - PlayStation 2
"Each fighter has their own reason entering the King of the Iron Fist Tournament, with cinematic storylines that play out beautifully. A variety of different game modes give this game a lot of replay ability. In Tekken: Devil Within, you play as Jin Kazama and have to defeat swarms of enemy's to find out the truth of his past and the devil gene, which allows you to transform into Devil Jin for stronger attacks. Arcade history allows you to play Starblade, Tekken 1 through 3. Best Tekken for PS2." - grandmasterp
