Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Wii

From aboard Starship Mario, egotistically adorned with the carved face of Mario, Nintendo's mascot trumps space faring Koopalings with Rock Mario power-ups and ever gluttonous Yoshi. Mess up enough under the weight of increased difficulty and players can receive an assist from the Cosmic Guide Rosalina.

I'm sensing a pattern here. Are you a fanboy?

If you want a more challenging Super Mario Galaxy game, this is it! Even the last stage is hard until you beat it. This along with Super Mario Galaxy are the beat games on the Wii! You must get this game if you have a Wii! Highly Recommended!! 4 out of 4 Stars!!

The levels are just as creative as the first Super Mario Galaxy, but I found the story less interesting. Were the Wii a modern console, this would have probably been DLC, similar to the way New Super Luigi U was offered. A good example of how 'more of the same' is not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to Mario.

Simply put, a near perfect game. Not only the best 3D platformer of our generation (and perhaps all time) but one of the best games this generation, and easily one of the most inspired works Nintendo has released in years. There is more creativity and ideas in each new level of Galaxy 2 than most games have in their entirety. A truly amazing game in every sense of the word, for after playing it thats all you'll be, amazed.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the best 3d game in our generation, am I using kdrugs probably but theres no doubt that this game should get game of the year. This game is perfect the art design is the best Ive ever seen, the controls are great, and the return of those motion controls are great too. The game has a new feature Yoshi thats the only thing thats new, which is a plus. The game has a lot of different levels and worlds, the gravity effect returns and it is sill sick. BUY IT NOW.

I bought my Wii for this game, and I guess that was pretty dumb, as this game isn't THAT great, but it is definitely one of my favorite Mario games, and is A LOT of fun. It is a bit on the easy side I guess, but it was my first Wii game so, and I am ashamed to admit this, I got a few game overs. That stopped when I got infinite lives, but... Anyway, for a Wii game, the graphics are superb and the game is addictive and fun. Killing Yoshi is a great time to be had.

RECENT CGR COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Power Stone 2 - Sega Dreamcast
"There’s no better party game on the system (or ever?) than this phenomenal brawler. It features slick art design and well-crafted fighting mechanics while still being remarkably easy to pick up and play. 1v1 isn’t as good as the first one but everything else is better. The single-player adventure, with its new item collecting and crafting, is finally worth gorging upon. But four-player is where this game shines. Its dynamic levels are full of hilarious opportunities to punish your friends." - stereopathic

 Missile Command - Arcade
"Yes! I found a Missile Command arcade! very good trackball." - wolf

Double Dragon LCD Handheld - Miscellaneous
"One of the few Tiger Electronic LCD games that were actually playable. It has stages!" - wolf

 Power Stone - Sega Dreamcast
"When you play this one, you’re gonna discover wonderfully designed characters, arenas and mechanics (which are much deeper than you’d think just by looking). You and a friend could play this every day for eternity and never get bored. However, single player can get pretty repetitive after a while and the characters have some balance issues. If you have one friend that plays with you, this is the PS to get. If you have more than that or play mostly alone, look for the sequel." - stereopathic

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII - PSP
"This game was fun. Didn't finish though, I borrowed it from a friend for a bit" - KAOS
