Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask - Nintendo 3DS

How does solving abstract logic puzzles serve to stop a madman turning the population to stone? We don’t know either, but Prof. Layton makes it work, time and again. Now you can solve puzzles in 3D!

Very cool game and IMO, the best of the Layton titles. Gone is the tapping for secrets mechanic that really hindered gameplay before. With this and the addition of magnificent 3D polygonal models, Miracle Mask surpasses all prior series entries that I have personally experienced. I really hated that tapping. LMAO!!!

RECENT CGR COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Sega Master System Console - Sega Master System
"Wow I didnt know about the Master System till this CGR review. Thanks Mark!" - swabbers

 Operation Wolf - NES
"I used to play this on my old IBM 286 (pre-mouse). Really fun, but using the arrow keys was quite the nuisance. The light gun seems like a better option." - drockus

 Ninja Gaiden - NES
"Many thanks Mark for pronouncing this game as we did in the 80s. We called it "gay-den" and not "guy-den". We also didn't call mana "maw-nuh"; we said "man-uh". Great game though, but not nearly as good as the sequel. Still, I think it's great." - drockus

Super Mario Bros. 2 - NES
"I forgot that people played as anyone other than Princess Toadstool. But apparently people do. Not a bad game by any means, but SMB 3 sort of made this game irrelevant. The ice level where you have to duck and jump repeatedly still really holds up." - drockus

 LocoRoco 2 - PSP
"This is one of the best PSP games even now with the PSP essentially out of the game. It uses the PSP's shoulder buttons to create a very nice tilting effect that no other games that have tried, have been able to replicate. It has very funny and unique sound score and hilarious characters. You can probably get it cheap online. Might as well get LocoRoco 1" - drawgood
