F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin - PlayStation 3

F.E.A.R. 2 is an intense, storyline driven first person shooter that is creepy as #$#! As if Poltergeist wasn't bad enough, now you have to gun your way through a military conspiracy and supernatural beings. Alma a super creepy!!

I'm nit a PC fan, but this game would've been better on PC. Anyway F.E.A.R was a great series. And well it'sstill is, I feel the that it's not the same, why? because they added the mech levels where you shoot down your enemies with a mech, still a great game

FEAR2 is an FPS with creepy environments/effects, great level design, and awesome shooting mechanics. It has a storyline that combines 'Akira' with 'Ringu'; i.e. the psychic power gone haywire thing + paranormal stuff. What I like the most about the game is the shooting mechanics, which is additively fun. The creepiness of the game is perfectly balanced to draw you in and keeps the tension up. In many ways it is similar in feeling to 'Doom 3' and 'Quake 4', except it has a paranormal focus.

This is a decent shooter. The story is not stellar but the gameplay is solid and serviceable. There's not much going on with the pretty unappealing environments and settings. The mech stages are a nice change of pace, the addition of fast moving melee enemies helps, and the guys that raise the dead are interesting, but the game is mostly a fairly bland shooter without a great story. It's still good, though, and the F.E.A.R. lineage adds something at the very least. It's a solid but not amazing.

The game is a lot of fun but liked the first one better. This one isn't that scary but creepy nonetheless.

RECENT CGR COMMUNITY REVIEWS

 Die Hard Trilogy - PlayStation
"This was a pretty cool game, was never really into the films all that much, and only recently had seen them all the way through. But the game from day one was always fun, difficult but fun." - Xegethra

 Cyber Speedway - Sega Saturn
"This is ultimately a forgettable Wipeout clone. The game lacks enough content to make it a true competitor nor is the gameplay tight enough to be engaging. The soundtrack and the graphics are also subpar." - fasttquick

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence - PlayStation 2
"One of the best games I have ever played. This is one of the few that I wish I could play again for the first time." - scipioafricanus

Game Boy Camera - Game Boy
"Primitive now, but this was surprisingly cutting-edge in 1998. The camera quality was similar to digital cameras back in the day and it's fun to take selfies with it. However, the amount of software that meaningfully used it is pitiful and you'll get bored after 20 mins. of using it." - fasttquick

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD - Wii U
"The minor improvements in this re-release don't make up for the utter lack of challenge, simplistic cartoony look, forgettable temples and the other shortcomings Wind Waker has. In fact, the graphical upgrades of this remake somehow actually make it look worse than the original. Imagine that." - Smash Bros Maestro
