F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin - PlayStation 3

F.E.A.R. 2 is an intense, storyline driven first person shooter that is creepy as #$#! As if Poltergeist wasn't bad enough, now you have to gun your way through a military conspiracy and supernatural beings. Alma a super creepy!!

I'm nit a PC fan, but this game would've been better on PC. Anyway F.E.A.R was a great series. And well it'sstill is, I feel the that it's not the same, why? because they added the mech levels where you shoot down your enemies with a mech, still a great game

FEAR2 is an FPS with creepy environments/effects, great level design, and awesome shooting mechanics. It has a storyline that combines 'Akira' with 'Ringu'; i.e. the psychic power gone haywire thing + paranormal stuff. What I like the most about the game is the shooting mechanics, which is additively fun. The creepiness of the game is perfectly balanced to draw you in and keeps the tension up. In many ways it is similar in feeling to 'Doom 3' and 'Quake 4', except it has a paranormal focus.

This is a decent shooter. The story is not stellar but the gameplay is solid and serviceable. There's not much going on with the pretty unappealing environments and settings. The mech stages are a nice change of pace, the addition of fast moving melee enemies helps, and the guys that raise the dead are interesting, but the game is mostly a fairly bland shooter without a great story. It's still good, though, and the F.E.A.R. lineage adds something at the very least. It's a solid but not amazing.

The game is a lot of fun but liked the first one better. This one isn't that scary but creepy nonetheless.

Super Hang On - Sega Genesis
"One might think with the limitations of 4 tracks the game would lose some appeal but the game makes up for this with a classic soundtrack selection, a real sense of depth to the velocities reached and maintained during lengthy, shift-shaping levels and a suitably intense difficulty. The game touches base with its arcade origins thanks to time replenishing checkpoints and continental course selection. Hang on for dear life while showing this arcade racer who owns those roads and enjoy the ride!" - teddykongcountry

 Tetris - Philips CD-i
"Before you ask, yes. They managed to fuck up this port." - sherberttcat

 New Ghostbusters II - NES
"I played this on an emulator a few years ago. I was as shocked as Derek was. This is a great game! Why do video game developers refuse to release games like this in various regions? I understand that some cultures are invariably different, but there are a bunch of games which weren't released in certain regions for no apparent reason. I just don't get it." - dschult3

 Commodore 64-C Personal Computer - Commodore 64
"The Commodore 64 is the greatest computer ever created. I have a Commodore 64C that I set up every so often and I still play great games with it. People STILL make games and hardware for it today. Long live the C64!" - Scubagon

 Cursed Mountain - Wii
"A pretty solid horror(ish) game right there. Give it a whirl right there!" - scarecrowchan
