F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin - PlayStation 3

F.E.A.R. 2 is an intense, storyline driven first person shooter that is creepy as #$#! As if Poltergeist wasn't bad enough, now you have to gun your way through a military conspiracy and supernatural beings. Alma a super creepy!!

I'm nit a PC fan, but this game would've been better on PC. Anyway F.E.A.R was a great series. And well it'sstill is, I feel the that it's not the same, why? because they added the mech levels where you shoot down your enemies with a mech, still a great game

FEAR2 is an FPS with creepy environments/effects, great level design, and awesome shooting mechanics. It has a storyline that combines 'Akira' with 'Ringu'; i.e. the psychic power gone haywire thing + paranormal stuff. What I like the most about the game is the shooting mechanics, which is additively fun. The creepiness of the game is perfectly balanced to draw you in and keeps the tension up. In many ways it is similar in feeling to 'Doom 3' and 'Quake 4', except it has a paranormal focus.

This is a decent shooter. The story is not stellar but the gameplay is solid and serviceable. There's not much going on with the pretty unappealing environments and settings. The mech stages are a nice change of pace, the addition of fast moving melee enemies helps, and the guys that raise the dead are interesting, but the game is mostly a fairly bland shooter without a great story. It's still good, though, and the F.E.A.R. lineage adds something at the very least. It's a solid but not amazing.

The game is a lot of fun but liked the first one better. This one isn't that scary but creepy nonetheless.

 Test Drive 4 - PlayStation
"I played Test Drive on COMPUTOR for years, 4 colour CGA, so when I bought a PlayStation with my fast food money I was completely taken in by the look and fast feel of most games, including Test Drive 4 (...and 5 and 6). I spent an embarrassing number of hours playing this, but the game kind of turns around when you get the Pitbull Special bonus car. The other cars are arcade fun, the Pitbull is arcade ridiculous." - fuzzix
