Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - PSP
"The true sequel to Snake Eater, and prerequisite for the context of MGS V. Essentially MGS segmented into mission format, interspersed with base/personnel management sessions. Presently the only MG title with pervasive multiplayer featuring both VS & Co-op modes. A rather brief main campaign, but extensive side missions plus the online element yield appreciably significant content beyond the credit roll. Couldn't get enough of it. Made me feel like Big Boss raising an army. Nuclear Deterrence!!!" - leaon79s

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops - PSP
"A drastically overlooked MGS title. Bridging 'Snake Eater' & 'Peace Walker', it details the beginnings of what eventually becomes the MSF, and introduces the personnel management system that would be refined for the latter title. Admirably recreates the Metal Gear experience despite the PSP's awkward controls. Regardless of not being helmed by Kojima or strictly necessary for the series' main continuity, an engaging extra chapter in Big Boss' story entirely worthy of the series' venerable name." - leaon79s

 Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - PlayStation 3
"The series' inevitable third installment after Among Thieves' monumental success, because two is rarely if ever enough. But where its predecessor wowed with snowy panoramic vistas, 'Deception' took to the polar opposite - blistering desert heat…resulting in a somewhat less romantically inspiring experience. While having its fair share of epic set pieces I couldn't help but feel it a bit contrived, a mere rehashing of ideas with a shocking twist towards the end that ultimately trivialises itself…" - leaon79s

 Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - PlayStation 3
"The title that solidified Uncharted as Sony's premier PS3 franchise, and for good reason -its immeasurably improved world & stage design- the sense of immersion in the majestically panoramic Himalayan locales nothing short of breathtaking… After streamlining Drake's Fortune for a refined action experience, a new multiplayer element added even further engagement on top of what was already a masterful showcase of modern gaming production value… The series' highpoint & among the very best of Gen 7." - leaon79s

 Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - PlayStation 3
"The beginnings of what would become Sony's premier gaming franchise. Play as the intrepid Nathan Drake -Part adventurer, Part detective, All action man- as he pursues his ancestor's treasure in a fast paced TPS actioner across exotic locales with platforming, puzzle, and stealth elements. Somewhat descriptive oversimplification though, as even lacking the life extending multiplayer or grand setting of its successors, thoroughly engaging semi-interactive storytelling beyond the sum of its parts." - leaon79s
