Mediocrity often manifests itself in a brand when the next product derives from a different brand's product, which was derived from the former in the first place and meant to be presented for a different market. And this is the problem with Diablo III: when compared to Dungeon Hunter it may feel like a sequel, but when we compare to the first 2 games it feels like multiple gameplay aspects were severely streamlined, put under a confusing interface, and covered under the AAA guise.

I would like to see CGR review of this game because I can't decide is it worth to buy Console version. PC version is not that good because of crappy Auction House and online requirements.

Building the stats and might of your character as you battle through the game is addicting and satisfying from start to finish. The cinematic's and story are interesting throughout the game but a bit predictable. I had minor frame rate issues a few time in the game when many enemies were swarming but it was minor. The menu system could be a little better. Those were the only problems I had with the game on normal mode.

I really liked the game. Graphics, story, characters. I didn't want to replay it after finishing it though.

After playing Diablo II for literally more than a decade. I was super excited when I heard about III. Then I heard all the cries of disappointment. I got worried, but I bought it anyway. I really love III. It's different, yes, but it's so familiar at the same time. I wish it was longer. I beat it rather quickly, but hey, that's what nightmare and the other characters are for. :)

The game ended up being better on console than PS3. Who would have thought? I've put 60 hours into the game so far and having no auction house is great.

 Borderlands 2 - Xbox 360
"I'm not normally into the loot grab, unless it's Diablo 2 or, in this case, Borderlands 2. I've put 400 hours into this game and though I be be close to done with it at this point, it was an amazing experience. To get the most our of this game, you need to play it with friends, as trading loot with friends makes the trading element a lot more addictive. Certain combat moments can become truly memorable. Most of the expansion packs were truly worthy additions, as well." - drockus

Donkey Kong Land 2 - Game Boy
"It's a fun game to bring with you but it's basically a DKC2 port and doesn't try to be its own game like its predecessor." - nukea6

Super Mario Kart - Super Nintendo
"For me, this is tied with Double Dash as my favorite Mario Kart experience, I think because they both emphasize strategy over luck. Mario 64 had great courses, but the rubber-banding and luck factor was inexcusable. Also, SNES MK had the best battle mode by far." - drockus

Illusion of Gaia - Super Nintendo
"I feel like making a provocative statement: This game is better than A Link to the Past. Its variety and quality of locale, music, and action are simply amazing. If you haven't played this yet, do so. I was very surprised to see no CGR or user reviews for this. What the heck? Beating monsters to death with a flute isn't good enough?" - drockus
