Aliens Vs. Predator - Super Nintendo

Not even a love for both the Alien and Predator series can save this lackluster and repetitive beat’em.

For some reason, I really liked this game as a kid. Now, after going back and trying to play it, I don't understand what I was thinking. Especially when compared to the arcade "AVP" beat 'em up, this game is just a travesty.

It had really good music, but the gameplay was a HUGE let down.

The most monotonous and tedious side scrollers I've ever played/owned!! but like you said I bought it because it was "AVP"!!! I'm pretty sure I took it back to K-mart a few days after and claimed it defective for a refund.....LOL

I got this game for my 14th birthday, back in 1993, at the height of my Aliens vs. Predator mania. I had some of the Dark Horse comics (although none of the older, rarer ones that were worth, like, thousands of dollars), and I got an action figure of an Alien and a Predator during this birthday, as well. Therefore, I was probably biased, but I liked this game. It wasn't great, in fact, I think I was a little disappointed, but I played the hell out of this game. It's not horrible.

Aliens vs Predator takes the Two franchises that we love and mashes it up together. I love the concept. But the execution is really bad. The game is a beat em up, where you control a predator who is destroying the Xenomorphers. The game is very repetitive and boring.

I bought this game back then, thinking it was a was a port of the arcade version... The way I felt like I had been raped with my money is indescribable.

A waste of a great license. I love beat em ups but this is a poor excuse for one. Nothing like the awesome arcade game.

I totally agree that this game is terrible and should be avoided at all costs.

 Dragon's Fury - Sega Genesis
"Whether it being Devils Crush or Dragons Fury I've never been a big fan of this particular pinball game. I loved Alien Crush but here I just don't enjoy the layout of the game for several reasons. 1. The 3rd layer is pretty hard to get too, 2. the second layer has a brutal glitch where you can get stuck and can't get out due to enemies trapping you. 3. The first level is hard to get out of and you can lose a ball very easily. I actually have more fun playing Dragons revenge despite it's clunky." - Truxton4life

Conker Live and Reloaded - Xbox
"I never played Conker' s Bad Fur day but live and reloaded is pretty much a port of the first but with online multiplayer and better graphics." - sonix

 Sonic Rivals - PSP
"Sonic Rivals was a decent game not the best in the franchise but it's decent." - sonix

"It was alright but not the best handheld." - sonix

"Really great port." - sonix
