Defender II video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video review of Defender II from Vid Kidz, Williams Electronics and HAL Laboratory for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Defender II was originally released to arcades in 1981, but it wasn’t ported to the NES until 1988. Defender II is a classically styled space shooter. You control a spaceship armed with infinite lasers, and you fly from side to side while shooting enemies. The catch is that the levels are circular, and you can warp to the opposite side through small portals. This video review features video gameplay footage of Defender II for the Nintendo Entertainment System and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek.
