Xevious review.Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Xevious from Namco Bandai for Playstation 3. Xevious is arcade gold but also comes with a pretty high challenge. You pilot your spaceship across the landscape and have to avoid, shoot, and bomb all the enemies that get in your way. Some enemies come from the air while other stay on the ground, forcing you to mix your shots between missiles and bombs respectively. The game does has a high level of challenge, with more projectiles on screen than you can deal with, and the game doesn't have an upgrade system so you stick with what you have. The game is brought to the PS3 with HD graphics and online leader-boards, all making for one of the best version of the game besides the original arcade cabinet.
