Magic Sword review.Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Magic Sword (developed and published by Capcom) for arcades, also part of Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 for PS2 and Capcom Classics Collection: Remixed for PSP. WE'RE BUSTIN' OUTTA HERE, SEE? There's a tower full of evil and prisoners, and you're just naked enough to make a difference. With your upgradable sword in hand, you're tasked with cutting down swaths of the undead, mages, bears... oh my. It's a platformy, hacky-slashy romp with a rotating cast of allies, be they a second player or one of the strange prisoners that pitch shuriken or whatnot as thanks for being sprung from the big house.
